Unincorporated Orangeburg County allows fireworks stands only as a temporary use under Zoning Ordinance § 3.18-2(9), and only for up to six weeks before a commemorative holiday such as the Fourth of July. Like every temporary use, a stand needs a permit from the Zoning Administrator before it can open, and it must come down once that permit expires.
