Planned commercial and industrial developments in unincorporated Spalding County can't clear-cut a site before building. Under Sec. 1708.P of the Zoning Ordinance's Planned Development District article, a planned shopping center must retain at least 20 percent of existing trees over ten inches in diameter, on top of any landscape-area planting required elsewhere; Sec. 1709.I applies the identical rule to planned industrial development.
