Anyone going door-to-door in unincorporated Sumter County to sell products, magazines or other items must first get an identification card from the county under Sec. 26-2, co-signed by the Sheriff and the business license department, and display it at all times while soliciting. Violations carry up to a $200.00 fine and 30 days in jail.
