In unincorporated Worcester County, Maryland, cooking food outdoors on other than commercial premises is allowed under the Open Burning Regulations as long as only unpainted or untreated wood, charcoal, propane or natural gas is burned. No nuisance or air pollution can be created, and the Fire Marshal can still order a fire out.
