Leak Reporting Duty
Under § NR 2-201(n), anyone in Worcester County, Maryland who knowingly fails to repair a leak within a reasonable time after discovering it violates the water conservation subtitle and faces its penalties. The County department can repair a leak and add the cost to the water bill as a lien, and service can be discontinued. The subtitle excludes incorporated municipalities.
