Buena Park's park curfew is in Title 12 (Streets, Sidewalks and Public Property), Chapter 12.04 (Parks and Public Buildings). Section 12.04.060 makes it unlawful to enter or remain in any park between the hours of eleven p.m. and six a.m. The code defines 'park' broadly to include every public park, roadside rest area, playground, or other recreational facility area, together with any parking lot, reservoir, swimming pool, course, court, field, bridle path, trail, or other recreational facility owned, managed, or controlled by the city. The chapter also regulates activities in parks - many uses require a permit, and visitors must comply with posted rules - and a city park can be posted with hours that match or are more restrictive than the ordinance. Note that minors face an earlier limit: the city's separate nighttime curfew for minors (BPMC Chapter 8.46) makes it unlawful for a minor to be out in public places, which would include parks, from 10:00 p.m. to sunrise, so a juvenile in a park at 10:30 p.m. may violate both the minor curfew and park hours.
