Casa Grande, AZ Curfew Laws: Park Curfew (2026)

Casa Grande Municipal Code § 12.04.020 sets three separate schedules for city parks. All parks not named in subsections A or B close overnight: they open at five a.m. and close at eleven p.m. Dave White Regional Park runs on a sunrise-anchored schedule, opening at dawn and also closing at eleven p.m. Only two parks, North Mountain Park and Casa Grande Mountain Park, are exempt entirely and stay open around the clock. Subsection E makes the schedule enforceable: no person may be present in any park while it is closed unless the park director grants permission, and subsection D closes every park at every hour the code does not expressly list as open.

The department director can also close any section of a park temporarily or on a standing schedule under § 12.04.030, whenever the director or police chief finds it reasonably necessary to protect public health or safety, whether for part of the day or entirely. Enforcement runs through Chapter 12.04's own enforcement article: park employees, the director, or police officers are directed to diligently enforce the chapter under § 12.04.210, and § 12.04.220 gives the director, park staff or police standing authority to eject anyone violating the chapter, independent of any citation.
