156's Article XII on warehouses and logistics distribution centers, requires anti-idling signs indicating a five-minute restriction on engine idling for diesel trucks to be posted at warehouses and industrial commerce facilities along site entrances and within dock areas, and requires the restriction to be strictly enforced by the facility operator, citing 13 CCR Section 2480. 910 to new warehouse development of 50,000 square feet or more, or with six or more truck docks or dock-high loading doors, as well as to redevelopment exceeding 50 percent of a warehouse's reasonable replacement value, excluding government and public utility facilities.

920 bars new warehouses from locating more than one mile from an Interstate 10 or Interstate 210 ramp. 950 separately requires warehouse projects to run at least 90 percent zero-emission on-site motorized equipment and to install rooftop solar or another state-recognized renewable energy source. These provisions were all adopted together under Ordinance 2955 in 2023, folding a specific, locally enforced diesel-idling sign requirement into a broader warehouse siting and operations ordinance aimed at truck traffic and air quality impacts near residential neighborhoods.
