Euless fence limits under Code Chapter 82: 4 ft front yards, 8 ft side/rear (6 ft common), reduced heights at sight triangles. Permits required above 7 ft. Fines up to 500 dollars.
The Euless Code of Ordinances Chapter 82 (Zoning) governs fence heights in residential districts. Front yard fences are limited to 4 feet in height, while side and rear yard fences are typically allowed up to 8 feet, with 6 feet being the common practice. Corner lots have additional sight-triangle restrictions: fences within 25 feet of an intersection are limited to 3 feet to preserve driver visibility. Fences taller than 7 feet require a building permit. Pool barriers have separate requirements (see fences/pool-barriers). Fences in commercial and industrial zones may reach 10 feet or more. Fence materials cannot include barbed wire or electrified wire in residential zones. Contact Euless Building Inspections at (817) 685-1400 before building.
