Section 12.32.090 lets the film permit coordinator attach reasonable conditions to a film permit covering the time, place, manner and duration of filming activities on Rocklin public property. Subsection G specifically authorizes restrictions on the use of firearms, explosions and noise-creating or hazardous devices, giving the coordinator direct authority to limit gunfire simulation, pyrotechnic bangs and other loud production effects that could disturb nearby residents or businesses. Subsection H separately lets the coordinator restrict stunts involving pyrotechnics, open flame, vehicle crashes or other hazardous materials.

These conditions sit alongside the coordinator's broader review standard in § 12.32.080(F), which requires denial of a permit if the filming activity will substantially disrupt the privacy or disturb the peace of individuals residing in the vicinity, and § 12.32.080(E), which requires denial if the activity creates a substantial risk of injury or property damage. Beyond the coordinator's conditions, § 12.32.150 requires any special effect or stunt using pyrotechnics or hazardous material, including fireworks, open flames or explosives, to carry its own required permits from the Rocklin fire and police departments before filming.

Section 12.32.070(D) requires the application itself to describe any hazardous filming activity involving firearms, explosives, open flame, other pyrotechnical effects, animals or amplified noise, so the coordinator can evaluate noise and safety impacts before issuing the permit. A permittee who violates a noise or firearm condition risks permit revocation under § 12.32.160(A) or on-the-spot suspension by a police officer or firefighter under § 12.32.160(B) if the activity poses an immediate hazard.
