Eagle Mountain City Council approves a Fireworks Restrictions Map annually (provided by Unified Fire Authority). Fireworks are illegal throughout most of Eagle Mountain. Permitted zones are limited and can be found using the UFA's interactive map at eaglemountain.gov/fireworks. Key prohibited areas include most areas east of Frontage Road/Mountain Road from the northern boundary to Green Drive, east of US-89 from Green Road to the city office, east of Mountain Road from the city office to the southern boundary, and areas west of US-89 between Lloyd Road/Fence Post Road/500 South and Nicholls Road. Smith Ranch Park prohibits fireworks on July 24th (Pioneer Day) due to fire-unsafe playground surfaces. Fireworks are not allowed in any city park, on tennis or pickleball courts, or in private parking lots. Utah state windows apply where fireworks are permitted: July 2β5 and July 22β25, 11 AMβ11 PM (midnight on July 4 and July 24).
