Maricopa, AZ Food Trucks & Mobile Vendors: Vending Zones (2026)

Mobile merchants need a city zoning permit plus a Pinal County Department of Health Services license before operating anywhere in Maricopa. Vending is confined to commercial zoning districts: a mobile food vendor cannot operate in a residential-zoned area or within 250 feet of one, except ice cream vendors on public rights-of-way or vendors with a special event permit for up to six hours per day on private residential property. Units may occupy only one legal parking space, for no more than six hours in 24 hours absent posted limits, and cannot remain on private property longer than 96 consecutive hours without a permitted event.
