Full Breakdown

LA County Code § 22.304.070.A.4 governs home-based occupations in the Agua Dulce CSD. Occupations are allowed in residential and agricultural zones subject to both general Title 22 rules (§ 22.140.290) and Agua Dulce CSD enhancements. A home-based occupation may be housed in a permitted accessory structure, including a garage, provided required automobile parking is not displaced. No more than two full-time equivalent non-resident employees may be present at any one time, with a maximum of 80 employee-hours per week. Business hours are limited to 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, seven days a week. The occupation must provide one parking space per customer and one per employee, not to exceed three additional spaces total. Uses permitted beyond standard Title 22 home-occupation rules include animal training (for domestic animals) and recording/motion picture/video production studios.
