321, Home-Based Business, sets the zoning framework for running a business out of a Vallejo residence. 603, plus a business license under Title 5. 04 then lists the operating standards. Subsection (B), Compatibility, bars offensive or objectionable noise, vibration, odors, smoke, fumes, heat, dust, dirt, glare, or electrical disturbance perceptible beyond the lot line or shared party walls.

Subsection (C), Residential Character, prohibits any change to the dwelling's residential character and limits deliveries to a step-truck or a vehicle rated sixteen thousand pounds gross weight or less.
