Composting is not the only outlet for that material; a resident who does not want to compost can instead deliver green waste to the Casa Grande Municipal Landfill, where it is accepted free of charge if chipped to two inches or less under § 8.08.100.C.2.a, though mixing it with other refuse forfeits that free rate.
