750(B)(9) of the Florissant Code of Ordinances makes it unlawful to create a loud and excessive noise in connection with loading or unloading any vehicle or the opening and destruction of bales, boxes, crates and containers, one of eighteen specific noise activities the Section prohibits after Subsection A's general ban on any loud, unnecessary or unusual noise disturbing the neighborhood's peace, comfort or repose. Unlike the residential stereo rule in the same Section, this loading-noise provision carries no fixed curfew hours of its own; instead officers weigh the twelve factors set out in Subsection A, including the time of night, the duration and recurrence of the noise and the density of the surrounding area, to decide whether a delivery is disturbing the neighborhood.

2280, separately lets a shopping center or business post signs restricting the hours during which delivery trucks may arrive, idle or make deliveries at all, tying enforcement to whatever hours are posted or written into the property's business license.
