Section 14-22(b)(5) targets the noise generated when a business receives or ships goods: the creation of a loud or excessive noise in connection with loading, unloading, opening, closing or other handling of boxes, crates, containers, refuse cans, doors, or other objects, or the use of machinery or motors on commercial property, restricted during 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. on weekdays and at all times on weekends and holidays, but only where the commercial property abuts a residential property.
