Special events which take place outdoors and include live entertainment shall require Conditional Use approval if the event occurs within a residential district. In all instances other than a City sponsored event, live entertainment at outdoor events shall conclude at 10:00 PM. If amplified music is provided, such amplified music shall conclude at 9:00 PM and sound levels may not exceed allowable levels permitted in the Noise Ordinance. B. Event Approval Required. For all special events taking place outdoors, whether on public or private property, organizers must obtain a permit pursuant to the requirements, as applicable, that are set forth in Chapter 13, Section 13-4 of the Municipal Code of the City of Hoover, Alabama. C. Food Trucks. The licensing, operation, and location of all food trucks in association with special events and event venues shall be in accordance with Chapter 8, Article XV of the Municipal Code of the City of Hoover, Alabama. Operation of all food trucks in association with special events shall cease by 10:00PM.
