Chapter 300 defines a noise disturbance broadly as any sound that injures, endangers or annoys a reasonable person of normal sensibilities, and § 300-4(K) applies that standard specifically to pets: it is prohibited to own, possess or harbor any pet animal whose sounds create a disturbance across a real property line or through a shared partition wall in a multi-unit building. The section supplies a bright-line duration test rather than leaving 'excessive' to guesswork: 10 minutes of continuous noise, or 30 minutes of intermittent noise, counts as a violation unless the animal was provoked into barking.

Enforcement runs through the Old Bridge Police Department under § 300-3, which coordinates noise-control activity, investigates complaints, and can refer any complaint requiring measured sound-pressure levels to the Middlesex County Health Department for follow-up under state regulations. The exceptions listed in § 300-5, covering religious bells, municipal department activity, authorized emergency vehicles and school events, do not extend to pet noise, so a barking dog gets no carve-out regardless of the time of day. Because Chapter 300 does not set its own fine schedule, a conviction defaults to the Township-wide maximum penalty in § 1-3: a fine of up to $1,250, up to 90 days of imprisonment, up to 90 days of community service, or a combination, at the Municipal Court's discretion. Section 1-4 treats each day the disturbance continues as a separate violation, so an owner who ignores a warning can face escalating exposure.
