Atlanta Code §74-134 prohibits construction noise from being plainly audible more than 100 feet beyond the property boundary outside permitted hours. Permitted hours: 7 AM–8 PM weekdays; 9 AM–8 PM weekends and legal holidays. Construction within 1,500 feet of any residential or noise-sensitive area has additional restrictions between 10 PM and 7 AM on weekdays. Variances are available for unusual circumstances; each variance lasts up to 14 days.
