Livermore, CA Noise Ordinances: Quiet Hours (2026)

Section 9.36.110 of the Livermore Municipal Code, the exceptions section of Chapter 9.36 (Noise), carves out a dedicated quiet-hours rule for short-term rentals in subsection B: outdoor noise levels at a short-term rental operating under a valid permit are prohibited between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m., or at any time or place if the noise annoys or disturbs the quiet, comfort or repose of persons in a dwelling, office, hotel or other residence, or of anyone nearby.
