After-hours active disturbances are handled by the Yuba City Police Department non-emergency line. Sunsweet Growers (a major Yuba City employer) and other industrial-zoned facilities along the Highway 99 corridor are regulated by the same Chapter 17 reasonableness framework plus general performance standards in the city's zoning code.
First citation under YCMC Chapter 17 carries a maximum fine of $100. A second citation within the same year carries a fine up to $200. A third citation within the same year carries a fine up to $500.
