Full Breakdown
Las Vegas Municipal Code § 9.16.030 lists specific noise disturbances, including operating a car radio or stereo loud enough to be plainly audible 50 feet from the vehicle on any public right-of-way, and discharging exhaust from a motor vehicle engine except through a muffler or sound dissipation device that effectively prevents loud or explosive noise. Repairing, rebuilding, modifying or testing a vehicle so as to project noise across a residential property line is separately prohibited under the same section. Enforcement is citywide and year-round.
