Summary
Hall County tows vehicles left unattended on county-owned property in violation of its parking rules, moving them to the sheriff's abandoned-vehicle storage area under Code of Ordinances § 10.60.030. Before an owner can reclaim the vehicle, the county requires payment of the removal cost plus a $3.00 daily storage fee. The sheriff and his deputies enforce the chapter.
Any vehicle that is left unattended and in violation of the provisions of section 10.60.010 of this resolution [chapter] may be removed to the area maintained by the sheriff of the county for abandoned vehicles or such other area as may be designated by the board of commissioners of the county. The owner of such vehicles or such other person or persons as shall lawfully reclaim such vehicles shall pay to the county the cost of removing the vehicle and a storage fee of $3.00 per day for each day the vehicle was stored by the county, before the vehicle may be reclaimed.
