Anchorage Municipal Code Title 9 prohibits parking commercial vehicles exceeding 12,000 pounds GVWR on residential streets between 10 PM and 6 AM. Semi-tractors and trailers must be stored in I-1 or I-2 industrial zones. Construction trucks and equipment are allowed on a job site during active permitted work but must be removed at project completion. Plumbers and similar service vehicles owned by the resident and clearly marked are generally tolerated if parked in the driveway.
