Cedar Hill Code of Ordinances Chapter 11, Article III, Section 11-128 (Ordinance 97-345) makes it unlawful to park truck-tractors, semi-trailers, buses, commercial dumpsters, or any commercial motor vehicle with rated capacity exceeding 1 ton in residential, multifamily, or apartment zoning districts. Exceptions include temporary loading and unloading, church or daycare buses parked on their own property, Cedar Hill ISD vehicles on CHISD property, and utility or public service vehicles on duty. TX Transportation Code Β§545.307 supplements local regulations for overnight commercial vehicle parking.
