Fort Worth Code of Ordinances Section 22-162.2 defines commercial vehicles as those for transport of property/cargo with gross weight exceeding 15,000 lbs, or designed for more than 15 passengers. These vehicles are prohibited on residential streets unless actively loading or unloading. On non-residential streets, maximum parking is 2 hours. Section 22-162 further prohibits commercial vehicles in front, side, or rear yards of residentially zoned areas. Section 22-222 authorizes towing for violations of Sections 22-162.1 and 22-162.2.
