Section 25-293(a) makes it unlawful to park or store, at any time, fourteen listed vehicle types, trucks, tractor cabs, motor passenger buses, trailers, semi-trailers, taxis, limousines, tow trucks, dump trucks, stake body trucks, step vans, roll back tow trucks, flat bed trucks, and any van, pickup or panel truck used primarily for business, anywhere in an area zoned residential under the city's zoning ordinance. , on any street, alley or public place outside a residential district either. Subsection (b) lists narrow carve-outs: a vehicle actively loading or unloading, one performing an actual service call, a school bus under 20,000 pounds GVWR parked in a residential driveway between runs, one van, pickup or panel truck under 7,500 pounds GVWR parked in a residential driveway, one taxi per lot parked behind the front plane of the residence, and a taxi parked an hour or less on a residential street.
