030(D) defines a Commercial Vehicle as one meeting any of: Gross Vehicle Weight Rating over 10,000 pounds, length over 20 feet, width over 8 feet, height over 8 feet, permanently mounted equipment such as aerial buckets or welding gear, or being a step van, box van, bus or semi-tractor. 070(A)(1) prohibits any Vehicle Owner, Property Owner, Resident or Tenant from parking or storing a Commercial Vehicle or Former Military Vehicle on a public street, private street or private property in a Residential Zoning District, with narrow exemptions for vehicles actively working a permitted construction project or making service calls, deliveries, or loading/unloading.

Certain flatbed trucks and pickups with non-standard sidewalls can seek a written administrative approval within five days of an inspection notice if the vehicle is 20 feet or less long, 8 feet or less wide and tall, its highest sidewall sits no more than 3 feet above the bed, and it carries no mounted equipment; without that approval, such parking is prohibited outright. Former Military Vehicles are separately banned under subsection (B) unless the Director determines in writing the vehicle is substantially similar in appearance and function to an ordinary passenger vehicle. Subsection (F) requires all vehicles parked under this Section to be kept at the registered owner's principal legal residence.
