West Valley City, UT Parking Rules: Curb Color Rules (2026)

Chapter 22-5, Regulation of Traffic and Parking on School Grounds, is the City's curb-marking rule, and Section 22-5-105 states the operative text: 'No parking will be allowed in the areas where the curb is painted red, designated "no parking" or where such parking would obstruct regular vehicular traffic.' The scope is narrower than it sounds: Section 22-5-101 confirms that 'applicable state, county or municipal traffic and parking regulations shall be enforced upon school and school district property,' meaning the red-curb rule is written for campus lots and drives rather than ordinary residential streets.
