City Code Sec. 94-49 governs passenger curb loading zones: no one may stop, stand or park a vehicle in a marked passenger curb loading zone during its effective hours except for the expeditious loading or unloading of passengers, and even then for no more than five minutes. Sec. 94-50 governs freight curb loading zones separately: stopping is limited to the expeditious unloading and delivery, or pickup and loading, of materials during the zone's effective hours, and in no case may the stop exceed 30 minutes; a driver may also stop temporarily in a freight zone to load or unload passengers so long as it does not interfere with a vehicle waiting to use the zone for freight.

Angle-parking areas that also function as loading areas require a police-issued permit for perpendicular or parallel loading under Sec. 94-51(b). Enforcement runs through the general parking-ticket schedule in Sec. 00 civil penalty per violation, punished as provided in Fla. 1967. A vehicle overstaying a loading zone or otherwise parked in violation of a city ordinance may also be towed under Sec. 94-4(a)(4) if it is parked, stopped, or standing in violation of any city ordinance.
