Middletown, OH Parking Rules: Overnight Parking (2026)

09 authorizes the Director of Public Service to temporarily prohibit all-night parking on a street, block or part of a block whenever necessary for sweeping, snow removal or any other public purpose. 09(b) makes it unlawful to park on the affected side during the posted hours; without posted signs, the temporary ban does not apply. This gives Middletown flexibility to clear streets ahead of plowing or sweeping operations without a standing curfew that would apply on every street every night. 09 at a flat $20 if paid within 72 hours, $30 within 10 days, or $40 after 10 days, on top of the minor-misdemeanor classification that applies to Traffic Code parking offenses generally. The section was adopted by Ord. curfew found in some other cities.
