Ridgewood prohibits parking on any village street between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., with limited waivers available through the Police Department for residents.
Under Chapter 265, no person may park a vehicle on any street in the Village of Ridgewood between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. The prohibition applies village-wide regardless of street, district, or vehicle type. The Chief of Police, or a designee, may grant overnight parking waivers when residents request them, with permission generally available for up to five nights at a time upon providing the vehicle description, parking location, and contact information. Waivers must be requested in advance and are reviewed case-by-case. Enforcement resumes full coverage seasonally and during regular operations.
Vehicles parked overnight without a waiver receive parking tickets, and repeat violators may be towed at the owner's expense.
