Vineland, NJ Parking Rules: Overnight Parking (2026)

Article II of Vineland's Traffic Ordinance, adopted by Ordinance No. 939 and amended repeatedly since, sets overnight no-parking windows street by street rather than a single citywide curfew. Vineland City Code § 694-5 prohibits parking between the hours specified in Schedule II on any day except Sundays and public holidays, and § 694-31 codifies that schedule for named streets and street segments, each entry listing the affected side of the street, the exact time window, and the days it applies. On Almond Street, for instance, the north side is off-limits from 2:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Monday through Wednesday, while the south side carries the same 2:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. window Thursday through Sunday; other Schedule II entries, such as Castpa Place, run overnight bans from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. every day. Because the restriction is assigned street by street through periodic amending ordinances, the specific hours and days differ by block, and a driver must check the posted signs or the Schedule II listing for the exact street. Section 694-3 makes clear that these local time limits do not relieve a driver of the more general parking, stopping, and standing restrictions of state law under N.J.S.A.

39:4-138. Enforcement falls to the Vineland Police Department under the City's general traffic-ordinance authority, and § 694-29 separately allows police to have an unattended vehicle towed and stored when it is deemed a nuisance, with the owner paying removal costs before reclaiming the vehicle.
