2-34(C) targets motor homes, defined as private vehicles seating no more than 10 people and designed primarily as living quarters, and camping trailers, defined as vehicles with collapsible sides and sleeping quarters towed by another vehicle. It is unlawful to park either type within or along a public street or highway where the abutting land is zoned residential for a period of five consecutive days. That is a rolling time limit, not an outright ban, so a motor home or camping trailer can be parked on a residential street as long as it moves before the fifth consecutive day.
