La Grange, MO Parking Rules: RV & Boat Parking (2026)

Section 355.110, the same Section that bans street parking of commercial vehicles, separately regulates recreational vehicle use in Subsection B: it is unlawful for any person to occupy any commercial or recreational vehicle for living, housekeeping or business purposes, and no person, whether owner, occupant, contractor or agent, may allow a commercial or recreational vehicle to be kept on any parcel of land or premises in the City if it is occupied for living, housekeeping, recreation or business purposes. Subsection C defines RECREATIONAL VEHICLE as any camping trailer, fifth-wheel trailer, motor home, travel trailer, boat and truck camper, and separately defines a RECREATIONAL VEHICLE PARK or RV PARK as a tourist facility for parking motor homes, travel trailers and other recreational vehicles.

The only stated exemption for occupancy purposes is Subsection D.4, which exempts recreational vehicles located in an authorized RV park or campground; parking one in a residential yard or driveway for living or recreational occupancy outside such a park falls outside that exemption. This reaches boats, camper trailers and motor homes kept on a residential lot and used or lived in, not merely those parked on the street.
