In any residential district, no part of any lawn or easement area, except a rear yard, to the extent allowed by the Antiblight Ordinance, or a designated gravel or hard-surfaces driveway, shall be used for the parking or storage of motor vehicles. In any residential district, no boat, camper or recreational vehicle shall be parked or stored in front of the front building line of the premises. However, in a residential district, a boat, camper or recreational vehicle may be temporarily parked in a designated gravel or hardsurfaced driveway in front of the front building line for a period of not more than 48 continuous hours during a continuous seven day period, provided that the boat, camper or recreational vehicle must be properly licensed and registered.
(f)No person shall park a motor vehicle upon any street for the principal purpose of:(1)Displaying such motor vehicle for sale;(2)Washing, polishing, greasing or repairing such motor vehicle, except repairs necessitated by an emergency;(3)Displaying advertising, except political;(4)Selling merchandise from such vehicle except in a duly established marketplace, or when so authorized or licensed under the ordinances of this city; or(5)Storage for more than 48 hours.(g)A person who parks a vehicle in violation of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor.
