Town Code § 146-8A, amended by Local Law No. ' The purpose section, § 146-1, ties this directly to snow removal: the Town Board found that vehicles left on Town streets during snowfall have 'hindered and obstructed the Commissioner of Public Works in snow removal operations' and create hazards for people using the streets, and the rule is adopted under New York Vehicle and Traffic Law Article 41 (§§ 1660, 1660-a, 1662-a, 1663, 1664) and Article 42 (§ 1670). The ban applies regardless of whether snow is actually falling that night; it runs by calendar date and clock time for the whole winter season, not on a storm-by-storm basis.
