Bensalem, PA Parking Rules: Street Parking Limits (2026)

Sec. 225-7 of the Bensalem Township Code, in Article III of Chapter 225, restricts parking, stopping or standing of vehicles on the locations described in Appendix A, which the Code incorporates by reference. The section defines four designations that the appendix assigns street by street: a 'no parking' designation bars parking at all times or during the specific hours listed for that location; 'limited parking' bars parking for longer than the specified time period during the listed hours; 'no standing' bars standing at all times or during listed hours; and 'no stopping' bars stopping at all times or during listed hours.

Appendix A then names dozens of specific streets and segments township-wide, such as stretches of Bristol Pike, Blanche Road, Old Street Road and New Trevose Road, each tied to a direction of travel and a defined block or intersection where the restriction runs. The Township has amended Appendix A repeatedly by individual ordinance to add or adjust these street-by-street restrictions, most recently through Ord. Nos. 2023-05, 2023-06 and 2023-11, so the current list reflects a continuously updated table rather than a fixed one. Sec. 225-1 separately provides that vehicle terms used in Chapter 225 carry the meanings given in the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code.
