Stonecrest, GA Public Conduct: Loud Party Ordinance (2026)

Section 4.2.59 regulates 'Party House' events, a permitted commercial-style use of a single-family residence for ticketed or paying gatherings, and treats it as its own licensed use rather than an ordinary private party. The property must sit in the RE or RLG zoning district, have at least 300 feet of street frontage, and include a primary structure of at least 4,000 square feet. Events may only take place inside the primary structure or in a completely fenced back yard, and beyond normal interior and porch lighting, no strobe, disco-ball, spotlight, or other attention-drawing illumination is allowed during an event.

Music must stay entirely inside the primary structure and follow the city's noise ordinance in Chapter 18, Article VII of the City Code. A curfew caps every qualifying event at 11:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and midnight on Friday, Saturday, or any federal holiday. Guests may park only in the driveway or directly in front of the property along its own street frontage, on the same side of the street. No Party House permit or occupation tax certificate may be issued for a site within 2,000 feet of a park, senior housing, or a school, or within 1,000 feet of more than two other residential lots, and no alcohol may be sold, with cover charges limited to one drink equivalent to a 12-ounce beer, a 12-ounce glass of wine, or 1.5 ounces of spirits. The permit caps the owner at ten qualifying events per calendar year.
