Municipal property where the use of tobacco products and vapor products is prohibited includes, but is not limited to:a.City of Edmond City Council Chambers.i.It shall be unlawful for any person to use tobacco products or vapor products in the City Council Chambers of Edmond, Oklahoma.ii.Any person violating the provisions of this subsection shall be deemed guilty of an offense and punished for a Class B offense.b.City of Edmond Public Meeting Rooms.i.Use of tobacco products or vapor products is prohibited and is unlawful in hearing rooms, conference rooms, chambers, and places of public assembly in which public business is conducted, including private City offices, when the public business requires or provides direct participation or observation by the general public.ii.Any person violating the provisions of this subsection shall be deemed guilty of an offense and punished for a Class B offense.c.Parks, Playgrounds, and Athletic Complexes.i.Use of tobacco products or vapor products is prohibited in City of Edmond parks or playgrounds, or within 50 feet of such parks or playgrounds, and within the fenced confines of all City of Edmond Athletic Complexes.
