070, Public indecency, combines several distinct prohibitions in one sentence: no person may appear on any street, alley or public place in the city in a state of nudity; make any indecent exposure of their person; be guilty of any lewd or indecent act or behavior; expose their private parts anywhere other persons may be offended; or urinate or defecate in any street, alley or public place other than at facilities provided for that purpose. The section was last amended by Ordinance 5872 in 2012, carried forward from Ordinance 2969 in 1992 and traced to prior code § 17-29.
