090(A) groups garage sale signs with real estate signs, campaign signs, construction signs, banners, feather banners, and event posters under one temporary-sign standard, and none of them need a sign permit as long as they stay off the public right-of-way and off City property. A sets the numeric limits: in a residential zoning district, a lot may show up to two temporary signs at once, each no larger than 16 square feet and no taller than 8 feet. In every other zoning district the cap rises to two signs, or one sign per 100 feet of street frontage if that's a larger number, each up to 32 square feet and 10 feet tall.
