West Jordan, UT Special Events & Permits: Park Event Permits (2026)

West Jordan lets the public reserve city parks, pavilions, athletic fields, and recreational facilities under City Code section 8-13-3, but not every space qualifies: tot lots, traveled ways, sidewalks, and restrooms can never be reserved, and only a specifically listed portion of a parking lot may be, and only if the reservation or permit says so. The city administrator or a designee receives and approves or denies every request. A standard reservation must be made and paid at least 24 hours ahead of time, while a weekend reservation needs a full week's advance payment, and no request may be filed more than 11 months before the date.
