Ridgewood schedules bulk refuse pickup on certain Wednesdays and limits when oversized items may be placed at the curb for collection.
The Village provides curbside bulk refuse collection on certain Wednesdays per the published schedule. Per Chapter 165, bulk refuse cannot be placed curbside more than 48 hours before the scheduled collection date and time and must be in containers suitable to prevent spillage during pickup. Refuse includes garbage, ashes, yard waste, bulk refuse, rubbish, litter and dead animals, excluding organic human waste and recyclables. Residents can call 201-670-5579 to schedule.
Placing bulk refuse curbside more than 48 hours in advance, using unsuitable containers, or mixing recyclables with bulk refuse may result in nonpickup and fines.
