Section B6-11(A)(5) governs bulky waste in San Ramon: when the City authorizes a periodic pickup of un-containerized material through a neighborhood clean-up day, on-call bulky item collection, or similar program, residents may put out furniture, appliances, mattresses, rolls of carpet and other large items no more than 24 hours before the scheduled collection day. on collection day. Property owners can also self-haul bulky items themselves under the same self-haul right in Section B6-7, so long as they still carry the required Adequate Level of Collection Services under Section B6-2 or hold a Director-approved waiver. Anything left at the curb outside an authorized clean-up window, or dumped rather than set out for a scheduled program, risks running into the chapter's unauthorized-dumping and nuisance rules.
