Carts go to the curb no earlier than 7 p.m., or one hour before sunset, the evening before collection and must be pulled back by 8 p.m. the day after (§ 49-45(b)). Holiday weeks keep the normal calendar except two days: the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve are not observed as holidays for collection crews (§ 49-27).
