02(d)(1) apply to any temporary trash receptacle or dumpster related to construction work anywhere in the city. The dumpster must stay on the same site as the construction it serves; a contractor cannot stage one on a neighboring vacant lot or in the street right-of-way. Placement is limited to the side or rear of the site to the maximum extent practicable, and the dumpster has to sit as far as possible from lots that already contain development, which keeps it away from neighboring homes and businesses.
