A metal commercial container may sit more than 50 feet from the street only if it shares one driveway for both ingress and egress and the site provides at least a 50-foot-square turnaround area for the truck; overhead wires along that driveway must clear 20 feet, and wires over the actual dumping spot must clear 25 feet.
The container must be positioned so the truck can drive up, dump it, and back out without the driver leaving the cab. Where an enclosure, fence, or wall surrounds the container before collection, it must be built for that container alone, at least 12 feet deep and 12 feet wide inside, and no other items, used cooking-oil containers, discarded furniture, or other waste, may be stored inside it; a multi-container enclosure adds 12 feet of width per additional container. 71 for cleaning.
