C, the Garden Grove Boulevard Tree Requirements, applies to every property with a lot line along the Garden Grove Boulevard right-of-way in the city's GGMU-1, GGMU-2 and GGMU-3 mixed use zones, and it layers landscaping duties on top of the corridor's regular front setback rules. Columnar trees go within 10 feet of the Garden Grove Boulevard property line, inside the required front yard setback, spaced no more than 40 feet on center or grouped, each starting at a minimum 24-inch box size with a mature height of at least 45 feet.

Separately, setback canopy trees must be provided at a ratio of one tree for every 50 feet of Garden Grove Boulevard lot frontage, spaced or clustered within that same front setback.
